About ElevenPlusOwl

ElevenPlusOwl was founded in London by a data and AI professional. The aim is simple: affordable 11+ Maths and English practice that helps families see where their child is doing well and what to work on next.

What it does

ElevenPlusOwl is 11+ Maths and English practice for children aged 7 to 11 (Year 3 to Year 6) and their parents. Children practise with Pip the owl and see a short worked explanation after every answer. Questions cover the ten 11+ Maths topics, from number and place value to statistics, at five levels from Year 3 foundations to independent-school challenge.

Questions are written for ElevenPlusOwl, and answers are checked by code. Every wrong option comes with a short reason it is wrong. UK spelling, pounds and pence, and metric units are used throughout.

English with Pip

English practice covers reading, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and spelling through multiple-choice questions with explanations. The free English Learn pages offer fourteen lessons, including writing a scene and purposeful writing, with worked examples, tasks to try and printable revision boxes. Writing tasks have example answers and guidance rather than automatic marking.

For parents

Parents see scores by topic, mistake patterns and recent rounds. Optional AI insight is for parents only: you choose Maths or English, then pick from set questions and get suggestions based on your child's practice results in that subject. Children never chat with an AI. The free Learn pages have short lessons and revision sheets for all ten topics.

What is next

Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and 1:1 Tuition are coming soon. Tutor refinement of AI feedback is also planned; it is not available yet.
